| MSF "Shapes" Its Future |
Based in Newton Aycliffe, MSF has some 8000 square feet of fabrication and warehouse space specialising in the production of solid surface components for the domestic kitchen and commercial markets. Due to increased demand for its unique solid surface kitchen worktop, MSF are currently investing in additional specialised plant and machinery to provide arguably the UK's most competitive package for the kitchen worktop market. In addition, this investment will open a number of new opportunities within other furniture, shopfitting and healthcare applications.
MSF has undertaken a number of projects over the last couple of years, involving both supply and installation of materials. Clients include Newcastle Building Society, with extensive resurfacing of counter tops featuring complex 360 degree shapes throughout a number of branches. Other projects have included kitchen units for Urban Splash, Castlefield, Manchester.
Following a series of rigorous product performance and quality tests, MSF has been awarded the prestigious FIRA gold award, the supreme accolade of product excellence, accredited by the Furniture Industry Research Association. This award has led to the company winning a national contract with one of the leading high street kitchen retailers to supply worktops, with optional matching sinks, in a range of modern designs. |
